Do I need to sign up?

No. Connect your wallet, deposit USDG, and start trading. There is no email, no KYC, no verification step.

Which network does Vael run on?

Robinhood Chain. Every deposit, trade, and withdrawal settles on Robinhood Chain.

What is the max leverage?

20x on most markets (base tier). Individual markets may cap lower depending on liquidity and volatility.

How often does funding pay?

Every 4 hours, capped at ±2% per period.

How long do withdrawals take?

Withdrawals confirm as soon as Robinhood Chain finalizes the transaction, usually within seconds.

Can Vael freeze my account?

No. Funds sit in an onchain vault only your wallet can move. No operator has the authority to freeze, seize, or reverse.

Glossary

Perpetual (perp)

A futures contract with no expiry date. Price tracks the underlying index through periodic funding payments between longs and shorts.

Funding rate

A payment exchanged between longs and shorts every 4 hours that keeps the perp price aligned with the index. Positive rate = longs pay shorts. Negative rate = shorts pay longs.

IMR / MMR

Initial Margin Ratio (IMR) is the collateral required to open a position. Maintenance Margin Ratio (MMR) is the minimum collateral required to keep it open. Cross below the MMR and the position is liquidated.

Cross vs isolated margin

Cross margin backs every position with your entire account balance. Isolated margin locks a fixed amount of collateral to a single position; losses are capped at that amount.

Mark price

The reference price used for PnL, liquidations, and funding calculations. Derived from a time-weighted oracle to prevent manipulation from single-print spikes.

Liquidation

Automated closing of a position that has fallen below its maintenance margin. Liquidation fee (1.2%) is deducted from remaining margin, and any surplus is returned to your account.
