Deposits & withdrawals

Vault the funds you want to trade, take positions, withdraw any time. There is no lockup, no minimum balance, and no approval needed to move.

Deposits

Every deposit is a USDG transfer into the Vael vault on Robinhood Chain. The vault credits your account as soon as the transaction finalizes. If you're holding ETH, SOL, or another asset, use the built-in swap on the deposit screen to convert to USDG in the same transaction.

Steps

  • Make sure your wallet is connected to Robinhood Chain
  • Approve USDG spending by the vault contract (one-time)
  • Enter the amount and submit the deposit transaction
  • Wait for Robinhood Chain finality (usually a few seconds)

Deposit fee

A small onchain gas fee is charged by Robinhood Chain. Vael does not add a deposit fee of its own. The amount is calculated automatically and shown before you sign.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals are onchain requests signed by your wallet. USDG lands back in your wallet on Robinhood Chain within a few blocks of the request.

Steps

  • Realize any open PnL by closing the position, or settle PnL from the portfolio tab
  • Enter the withdrawal amount
  • Sign the request with your wallet (EIP-712 typed data)
  • USDG lands in your wallet on Robinhood Chain within a few blocks
Realize PnL before withdrawing

Only realized balance is withdrawable. Unrealized PnL from open positions stays in the position until you close it or explicitly settle it from the portfolio view. Once settled, it moves to the withdrawable balance.

Non-USDG collateral

You can post supported non-USDG assets as collateral against isolated positions. Your account is still denominated in USDG. If projected USDG borrowing against non-USDG collateral crosses a threshold (currently 50,000 USDG), Vael automatically converts collateral to keep the account solvent. This runs in the background. You don't need to trigger it.
